First Lego League Competitions

VRVILLEFIRST mentors and sponsors teams for the First Lego League (FLL) competitions, where students design, build, and program robots to solve real-world challenges. These competitions allow young innovators to apply their knowledge, collaborate with peers, and develop impactful solutions. These teams have achieved remarkable success, winning awards at regional, state, and global levels.

Community Impact Projects

Driven by a commitment to making a tangible difference, our participants embark on community impact projects that tackle real-world issues. One such project involves developing a prototype robot aimed at improving employee wellness at Amazon Fulfillment centers. By reducing stress and preventing accidents in the picking area, our young innovators are contributing to a safer and more efficient work environment, showcasing the power of STEM education to create meaningful change.

Community Outreach Events and STEM Fairs

VRVILLEFIRST organizes community outreach events and STEM fairs to promote STEM education and raise awareness about the organization's programs and initiatives. These events provide a platform for students to showcase their projects, interact with STEM professionals, and participate in interactive exhibits and demonstrations. Additionally, these events serve as an opportunity to engage with the broader community, fostering a culture of STEM appreciation and encouraging more young minds to explore these fields.

Summer STEM Camps

During the summer break, VRVILLEFIRST hosts engaging STEM camps that expose kids to a wide range of science, technology, engineering, and math concepts. These camps go beyond just robotics and coding, incorporating hands-on activities, experiments, and projects from various STEM disciplines. Participants get to explore topics like renewable energy, aerospace engineering, environmental science, and more in a fun and interactive learning environment.
